February 2022, Asher Gleann started his social media journey to express his creativity and get comfortable with cameras, driven by his dream of becoming a great actor. His engaging storytelling and ability to bring characters to life quickly earned him over 2 million followers across platforms.
By September 2023, Asher’s talent was recognized when he won the Content Creator of the Year award at the GUAP Gala. Reflecting on his win, he shared, “When I started this journey, I never imagined winning an award. But knowing it was possible motivated me, and now it’s a reality.”
For Asher, this milestone represents more than personal success—it’s about inspiring others. He explained, “Growing up, it was hard to find Black British role models. GUAP’s platform celebrates Black British creatives, and I hope it inspires the next generation.”
